After a lot of thinking about user customization in my game and what it would take to have a dedicated artist to make potentially hundreds of space ship parts and set up all of the nodes for connecting them and so on, I've decided to change the ship editor to a voxel based one. It'll take me a little bit to get back to where I was with the component based editor, but I think the end result will be a lot more enjoyable. Also, here's the first wall/window I built with it:

Just finished my first 7dfps, Antikythera. I decided to go a little bigger this game jam than I did for Ludum Dare since I had 5 more days, but I almost went too big. In the end I pulled through though. The only thing I wanted to implement that I didn't was a save game feature, but considering I only have 2 levels it's not really needed.

2 Days Left
Only 2 days left in 7dfps and now I have to make some levels! Here's my most recent build: Antikythera. The game is named after this.

My first ship
The first ship I built in my new game. I'm not much of an artist so the ship parts are what I managed in a 1/2 hour each and I only made 5 different parts, enough to build a simple ship.
Another ship, this time asymmetrical.
